White Suzuki Ertiga seven-seater automatic rental car in Barbados

Suzuki Ertiga (Van)

The Ertiga is what you book when the group is bigger than the car. Seven seats, five doors and room for a large suitcase, so a family travels together instead of splitting across two rentals. Automatic and air-conditioned, with hybrid economy that shows on the longer runs up the east coast, and narrow enough for the parish roads once you leave the highway.

White Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV automatic rental car in Barbados

Suzuki Grand Vitara (SUV)

The Grand Vitara gives you the higher seat and the luggage room. Five seats and three medium suitcases fit without stacking bags on laps, which matters on a two-week stay. The raised ride handles rougher inland roads and the speed bumps along the south coast without complaint, and the hybrid drivetrain keeps fuel spend sensible for a vehicle this size. Automatic, five doors, air-conditioned.

White Suzuki Swift compact automatic rental car in Barbados

Suzuki Swift (Compact)

The Swift is the easiest car on the island to live with. Compact enough for Bridgetown traffic and the tight car parks at Oistins, with five doors and space for a large and a small suitcase. Two people touring the coast will not want for more. Hybrid, automatic and air-conditioned, and the one that costs the least to keep fuelled over a week of daily driving.
